It is a nice looking receiver, but could it be available without the anodized bolt shroud and scope rail?

Of course. Rails are optional and the laser blue is the look I created for our company. If you look on our website, you'll see we ceracoated our entire .338. Everything is an option.

CT...im assuming you are in the gun business....do you have a website..(did I miss it on here??).....I would like to see your product also....does it have cone breaching---left-right port options---drop out Remington style triggers---plate or Sako extractors???....lots of things keep me using Panda-Kodiak-Grizzly-Atlas actions.....and If I had the money and the health I wuld drag one to the top of "Olympus" for a shot on a trophy...Roger

I always drool whenever I look at the Grunig & Elminger and the Bleiker websites. Their actions and rifles are just unreal. Bleiker claims that their actions are titanium coated. I just wrote both of them for some quotes on their actions etc. I suspect that they are going to be astronomical. Be interesting in seeing who makes their barrels.

Tom, does this have the M16 extractor and if not can it be had and when you put a stock on the action do you need a pocket cut out on the side of stock or does it ride high enough that it is not needed for the bolt release.

Yes, has the M-16 style extractor. The bolt release sits at the high part of the bolt lug groove so that a notch is usually not required for the bolt release button.

Someone asked before. The bolts have a traditional square face but a cone bolt can be had by special order. However cannot use the M-16 style extractor with a cone bolt. Must be the Sako style.
