Timney Ruger Precision

Does anyone have an idea if the rear portion that contains the safety portion of the timney ruger precision trigger comes off?
I have a ruger American that I'd like to put a 2 stage trigger in. I'm ok with it if it has no safety, so if I took the rear portion off a ruger precision trigger, I think it should work.

The one I replaced, you had take the existing safety off and reinstall on the Timney. Take a close look at it and you'll see what you need to do. The Timney is a serious upgrade from the original. Hope this helps!
