Time Precision still in business?

I tried to call this afternoon about a new extractor, but got a straight no name voice mail.

I have a PAS SLV action with the coned face and slide plate style extractor and it's shot. Trying to locate the whole kit for a 308 face with spring and plunger cap. In the event I can't get ahold of Time, does anyone have an idea of another manufacturer that will fit?

Are these actions to be considered not worth the investment if someone doesn't have a reliable source of potential replacement parts? If Time Precision is defunct, is there another source someone has identified? Or should they be considered "collector's items"?

I was able to get a new custom extractor plate made for mine, but my next option was to just order a bolt to fit from PTG. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for the right deal, as it appears to be an absolute tank of an action.

Just my $0.02 a year after my original post.

It's all a matter of what seems like a deal to you I suppose. I snatched mine off of GunBroker for $750, but it was an oddball caliber of 270 AI. I'd say that's probably not a bad deal if the barrel is still viable. The action alone is a decent cost.
