Tikka T3X Tact A1?

Just curious if any folks on here has had any experience with this gun? They are getting great reviews on line. Also what is a average cost on a new one?

This is mine at 1205 yards keep an eye on the first rabbits head just misses second shot I connect and the second video is just the zoom out that I forgot to put on the original video to show you how far it is .

I am a bit more reliable at 750 that I am at 1200 didn't video the first shot though unfortunately.
The steel rabbit is just left of centre of the screen

It's a great rifle out of the box. If you just plan to shoot it with minimal mods, then it's a good deal. Replace the trigger spring and that's about it.

However, if you like to tinker a lot and want to start going crazy with customizing it, then I'd look at just a regular Tikka as the base and then go from there.

When I bought my left-hand Tikka T3x Tact A1 (6.5CM) in 2018 I paid $1690 (shipped), full retail was $1995. Please note that I previously purchased other firearms from the "master" Beretta dealer so I received a "preferred" discount. Of course, I had to pay FFL transfer of $25. Once I mounted a SPUHR 4602 (6MIL/20.6 MOA) mount, and a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 scope, plus a tidbit or two, the weight was short of 15lbs. Not a deer stalking rifle. No recoil to mention, don't even bother with the brake. Would I purchase one again? YEP!

Some buy the CTR, knock off the picatinny rail for an after-market 20MOA, quality rings, swap out the stock for a (lighter) chassis, and an after-market trigger.

Whatever you decide, mount a good scope in Mrad. Buy once, cry once.
