Tikka T3x Tac A1

Installed my custom made 20 MOA rail. As you can see, there is less than 1/8" clearance between the front flip cap and the forend rail.
Possibly could get away with 1 3/8" rings but flip cap modification would be req'd. Specs: 30mm tube, 56mm objective, 1.50" rings, 19" scope length end to end.

I am selling the remaining 20 MOA rails for $240 shipped to the lower 48. Please send me a PM if interested. Note: it will only fit the TAC A1 model.

Hacker bump.

Not a "hacker" my friend. Just documenting what I have done with my rifle after purchasing it. If you don't like what I post....I suggest just moving on and not passing judgement so quickly. I live by the golden rule.....the end!

Uh, you musta missed the Chinese hackers. My post was not a comment about you or your post. It was meant to bump your post back to the top of the board, above the 20 odd Chinese posts selling illegal fake Diplomas. They hit almost every board on the forum.;) Oh, and welcome to the forum.

My apologies.....missed the Chinese hackers. I misunderstood your post. Thanks for clarifying.

I don't have this model, yet:) but I have three T3's and they all shoot very well. The 308 is a shoulder buster because of the light weight but I remedied this somewhat by developing a 125 reduced load with H4895 which shoots lights out.

The shoulder busting comes from the worst design in the rifle industry of how the top of the comb of the stock, slopes down as if you were shooting iron sites, which it has none!

I wasn't a huge fan of that trigger after handling it yesterday. I wished it was just the trg trigger. I'm not a fan of that thin blade trigger. The chassis is not the prettiest, but it seemed like it had everything you need. Like any other Tikka though, I'm sure once you get the trigger down, it will be shooting nice small groups. The action runs great like the others. I didn't notice the safe unlock feature. That is pretty handy.
