Tikka t3x stock work on a t3x lite barreled action?

I have t3x lite in 308 and was thinking of ordering a t3x stock. I want to action bed into the t3x stock will it work? Thanks!

If I understand you correctly, and I think I do,
It should work fine, The only difference that I can see would be in the barrel channel, Unless the new stock you are purchasing is made for the T3x lite

The way I figured, the actions are the same. As you said the barrel channel on the t3x would be a little larger than the t3x lite channel correct? I think, there are both on ebay new. Thanks!

There's better options out there. Have you considered the MDT HNT stock - no bedding needed and still very light weight? Or the later Field Stock? You could also look at the GRS laminate wood. Lots of choice - and yes - there's not difference in the action size - but make sure that the stock you buy takes the same magazine - some Tikkas are different (CTR and UPR models) - I own 4 and love them. Bought a UPR in Neeedmoor last week.
