Purchased this rifle new in .30-06, 22" fluted barrel. The stock on this EMBER is very light and quite "honey-combed" for lack of better word. Called Beretta for recommendations on torque values for front & rear action screws. Their 1st answer, quote: "20 in-lbs". I called FOUL. Then she came back with quote: "Start at 30 in-lbs each, then increase 2 in-lbs until you have the grouping you like." Then she went on to say, quote " Do NOT go over 40 in-lbs or you may damage the stock. Honestly not impressed with TIKKA (Beretta) customer service or knowledge of their rifles. I have an older M658 RH with exceptional wood that is a tack driver. It likes 45 & 40 in-lbs of pressure on the woodstock. Can anyone share advice or experiences with recommended torque settings - front & rear for T3X LITE stocks? I would be skeptical of going too high in torque as this stock is very light and skeletonized inside. Appreciate the help. Thx
