Hi guys, I am wondering if anyone knows if my t3 tactical 18x1 muzzle threads are large enough to turn down to 1/2x28 for my can? I am wondering because i really don't want to shorten barrel if I dont need to and also can you even re cut threads like this. I am not a machinist so bear with me, seems to me that 18x1 should still have enough material to rethread down to 1/2x28. If anyone knows the answer or could point me to a smith in washington area that would be great. Thank you for any help!
