tikka T3 aftermarket stock question

Hi folks,

I am curious if anyone has put a tikka T3 into one of the bell and carlson medalist after market stocks they make for them.

The reason why I am asking is that I do not get along with the fit to me of the factory stocks on the t3 stainless lite rifles. I am a big overgrown midwest farm boy and they just feel too small.

I think the rifles themselves are very nice for a carry around and shoot coyotes type rifle, but the fit just does not feel right.

So I am curious if anyone had tried one and how well did they like it.

Thanks in advance for any experience you can share with me.

Hi Bill. I have a Tikka T-3 in .308 that has gone through the transformation of the Bell & Carlson stock being added. It Improved the feel over the factory stock, and noticed a slight reduction in felt recoil,(not that a 308 is all that terrible) and lost a 1/4" MOA improvement in accuracy at 100-200 yds.I feel that it was money well spent, and would do it all over again,if needed. Here is a link that i read through, before making the purchase. Mine was a Drop in,No Touch fit!

Sorry Bill.Went from a 3/4" group at 100,down to 1/2, if I do my part correctly.

ok thanks for clarification.

I am thinking I may have to get one of those stocks, or try to find one nearby here to see how they compare for fit to the shooter compared to the factory ones
