My prefit has a barrel nut. You would need to purchase a nut with the barrel unless you already have one.

You are thinking of a “shouldered” prefit, he’s offering a pre-fit with a barrel nut like a remage setup.

Tikkas do have tight enough tolerances that allow for shouldered prefits.

You will not see a Savage or Remage prefit barrel add that says "buy a nut barrel". That is more of a slang term I suppose.

Shouldered Prefits require tight headspace tolerances. The nut solves the problem.

Yes it is a prefit. Two different style prefits. One shouldered and the other you set the headspace and torque the nut.

If you start at 1 inch at the chamber end, as in the case of a Tikka prefit, a Sporter countour would be tiny.
