Is the barrel contour the same on the sporter models? Specifically with regards to the t3 hunter vs the t3 lite in 22-250.

The Sporters have much heavier barrels. The Sporter, TAC and Varmint I think all have the same contour, but don't quote me on that.

My Sporter barreled action weighs 6.2 lbs with the bolt, in 6.5x55 caliber.

Yes. About .630" at the muzzle.

Thank you! I called Beretta today and they also confirmed the only difference between them was the stock.
