Tikka T3 Lite

Anybody got one of these? What is the muzzle dia. of the 30-06 caliber? Been wanting a lightweight hunting gun and I hear that these are really good guns. They sure are light enough and I was just curious what barrel contour they have. Thanks.

Have a 270 and it is light with approx. .63 barrel, and shoots extremely well. Have a three shot cloverleaf. What is not to like about that. Best bang for the buck IMO.

I have a 223 lite and a 30-06 hunter. Both shoot well. the 30-06 will shoot clover leafs when fed hand loads it likes. The best load I have found was 180 spt (Hornady interlocks) with a stout charge of h4831 and I stopped looking. Nothing fancy I started by seating right at the knurl and they worked.

Over here in New Zealand nearly every second hunter owns a Tikka I'm not a huge Tikka fan but I hate to admit that you will find a better bang for your buck. Every T3 I know will shoot 1/2moa with some carefull handloading & easy 1moa with factory ammo. Very hard to go wrong with one of these I.M.O

I purchased one last fall in 243.

Great trigger, smoothest action I've ever seen, stock is rigid and it's comes with rings. Mine shoots fantastic with tuned reloads. Handles very well in the field. I like mine very much so much so I'm considering another one in 22 250 or 223.
