Tikka t3 bolt swap question

Hey guys got a quick question for somebody in the know. I have a tikka t3 lite in 243 that im wanting to build into a 7mm of some kind. I really want a 7wsm but obviously its a different bolt face. Ive had a couple people tell me that the t3's are all the same length regardless of cartridge. Ive found a guy online willing to swap me bolts. (His has a mag boltface). Is this doable or is there something im overlooking? New bolts at brownells are more than I paid formy ccomplete gun so its either swap bolts or sell and buy an action to build on.

What should I do???

Swap bolts. The T3 action replaced the 595/695 actions that were different lengths. Obviously you will need magazines if it is a repeater. The only other item may be the bolt stop for the fatter cartridge case.
Have an understanding with your trade partner that if, for some reason, the bolt does not work you can get yours back.

Another dumb question here. So all the tikka t3 actions are the same length? If I have a 243 abd swap for a mag bolt I can do something on the 300wm case with some bolt stop work and a different magazine? I was pretty set on a 7 wsm but after doing alot of reading I want to try a 7mm rogue which is a slightly shortened 300wm necked down.

Please chime in with any and all opinions.

Yes, you should be good to go. The only issue are the magazines and bolt stop

You can dremel your bolt stop (videos online) or trade that item along with the bolt.

Tikka actions are all the same length, if you want to swap calibers you will need an appropriate bolt head and magazine and modify the bolt stop area. Like previously stated you can find all the how to info online.
