Tikka chamber details ?

Does anyone know the chamber details or dimensions about the Tikka T3x varmint 223 cal ?
I have measure base to ogive for the 69, 77 and 80 gr SMK's but I don't know the freebore and would like to know what it is.

I don't know about the 223, but my 300 WSM Tikka has a freebore so long the shortest jump I could get was a quarter inch. It shoots amazing though.

You could make a dummy case and seat bullets long, run them through the action and keep adjusting until you find the touch by "feel". You could also get a Hornady chamber gage.

My Tikka T3, 223 Rem has a relatively short free bore compared to Remington 700's and 7's.

For example, the Hornady 60 max touches the lands at a COL of 2.265".

Regardless of make / model / caliber, one of the first things you should do is measure the max COL for the bullet you intend to reload. I use a home made version of the Frankfort arsenal tool which is quite accurate. I measure three bullets and periodically check with different lot numbers. I try to seat at least .010" from the lands to allow for variations of ogive.
