Tikka 595 Varmint

Watch out for those Savage guys. Some can shoot a group like yours, then they’ll smile and mention they only paid $300 for their gun! I own 1 Savage bolt gun. It’s an old 110 in 223 and it shoots as well as my Tikkas and Remington.
I like Savages to! And they do usually shoot good.

I was asking for value on another forum and replies were pretty slow. Did all the Google searchs and came up empty handed. The rifle is a Tikka 595 varmint in 22-250. I'd give it an 8 -8.5 on condition. Its pretty nice. Very nice walnut stock and metal is good. Bore looks good as well. Just can't find anything on its value.
interested in buying it

Here in the UK a used 595 can be £150-350 depending on condition..bore,stock e.t.c.stainless ones tend to make more money.£400 upwards.quite sort after for a doner.ive rebarreld quiet a few from 22.250 into 6br.they feed from the magazine and are generally super accurate.ive had no complaints.. customers very happy.

Yes it did! Making a front sight attachment for it now so it will be put to good use in prone matches! once a year haha

Did you get thay 308 m595 sporter on gunbroker the other day? Sold for $748

I'm a big fan of the old Tikkas as well. I prefer the older yet version, the pre-sako M55 and M65 rifles, though I do have a couple 595/695 as well.

This is my most recent, an M55 .22-250 heavy barrel Sporter - she's hefty, the only one I've seen like this in the 10 years I've been buying them. I've only put a handful of rounds through it but it seems very promising, like the rest of them.

A group shot of the Deluxe models I have acquired, though I may have sold one or two since this was taken. Might regret that someday.

@psycodog, that .25-06 will serve you well. I've taken a handful of deer with mine, none have taken more than a few steps, including this guy. :)

I did not realize Tikka means woodpecker, but sure am happy that it does!

Enjoy those old guns! I also have a bit of documentation (old catalogues, manuals etc) that I've acquired over the years, happy to send it to anyone who would like a copy.

Yes Sir I do. Matter of fact, I'm getting ready to spin up some bullets so I can shoot it in the next few days. The action is sooooooo smooth if feels like its on bearings. And the rifle shoots little groups and very easy on the eyes too.
if you ever decide to part with it, I would be interested. I think those rifles are pretty special.
