Tikka 595 for XTC

The Tikka 595 seems to be a good mag fed bolt gun option for XTC but I rarely see them on the line. Why don't I see more of them? Is there a problem with one of the features that make them problematic in the rapid fires such as sticky mags or stiff bolt throw? At the going sticker price, I would think that there would be a lot more of them around.

I saw plenty on the line when they were new, now 10-15 yrs. later not so much.

They're still out there, just more "new" stuff to see like Tube Guns......

Tikka 595s are excellent rifles. The 595 action is one of the better ones ever put out by Sako, in my humble opinion. In the never-ending quest by Beretta, who owns Sako/Tikka, the 595 and 695 actions were discontinued to make room for the T3 actions, which are lighter and again, in my opinion nowhere near the quality level of the 595/695 actions.

There were quite a few of them made, but not many people are willing to let go of them, which is why they are scarce.
