Barrel profile for XTC?

whats the preferred profile for tube guns? I’m thinking a 26” barrel and in a lighter profile. I shot a heavy Palma profile in a tube gun, but felt pretty heavy for offhand. Would a light varmint work? With XTC, shooting no more than 10 rapid fire, at what diameter is barrel heating a concern?

There are a ton of profiles out there so any help would be appreciated.

I've been using a lot of 26" Big Horn Varmint contours on course guns, very similar to a shortened Medium Palma, weigh about 4.5 pounds, they work real well.
