Tikka 3x bolt stop change or modifying

Seeing as Tikka uses the same action for both short and long cartridges. Is the bolt stop located in the same place? Do they use a shorter bolt stop for long cartridges (270s-300 Win. ) ? I load the 308 long (3.010) and bought a long magazine for it.
Using the "Long" magazine the bolt comes right to the top of the rim with the 308 case as far back as it can go. I'm wondering if the bolt stops were able to be changed out or modified to use the "longer" mags?
