Throating reamers?

I had a 243 built lasr winter in 8" twist for the 107g bullets, the throad ended up about the right length so i could seat out but still use the magazine. My question is should my throat be dut with a different reamer for VLD bulets or is a standard throat ok?

If the throat works for a Sierra 107, you should be good to go with the Lapua 105, Clinch River 106, and Berger 105. Nobody really shoots the Euber 108 and Berger 115 much--they would require more freebore, ideally.

The only question mark, then, is the 115gr DTAC. Ideally, it needs quite a bit more freebore than the 107 SMK. But you could just seat it deeper in the case.

the reason i'm asking is because when i colour a bullet with a marker and chamber it I get more of a ring then distinct land marks. To be honest i cant make out spcific lands at all. its asif i got a burr or the lead is cut at an improper angle. I am not closing the bolt while doing this either, i'm seating a bullet REAL long and going straight in and back.
