Gentlemen-Is it practical to lengthen the throat of my barrel by using a hand tool. I just got a new barrel and the throat turned out a little shorter than I would have preferred, my fault). I don't mind taking a chance of doing it myself if I can expect a decent result. I see Brownells sells a throating reamer for a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
