Threading set-up

Carbide always for lathe tooling. The only tools I grind are boring and fly cutters for the mill.

And the best part is, only need to buy one! I think my threading tool must be about forty years old. Look at all the money we save not buying carbide.

I set all my tools up to center on quick change tool post holders. One and done.

Aloris QC and carbide. Been using the same insert for close to four years, plus it's always on center and sharp.
