Thread Preview Option

Quite a few forums have the thread preview feature. When you scroll over the list of titles in a message board you get a small screen tip that displays the first few sentences of the thread. This helps you decide if you want to read the thread or not. This would be very helpful in the sell and buy part of this forum mainly because some people don't title subjects clearly, leaving me to open a thread in something I am not interested in. Its a minor gripe, but think about how nice that would be.

Will this forum board support this feature? If not is there a script that allows this to happen? ??? ;D Thanks

We looked at activating that. There's a hack that can make it possible. But it caused some undesireable issues. Most of my beta-testers also said it was more annoying than it was useful. You had the problem that the preview text was often no better than the title.

I will look at it again and see if we could enable it for just part of the Forum.
