Thoughts on how to remove scratches from inside neck...

One of my trimmer mandrels scratched the crap out of the inside of my necks on some of my Dasher casings. Any ideas on removing the scratches!?!?... I really don't want to ream them out...

Steel wool 4/0 wrapped around a 22 cal brush. It will at least smooth them out and don't go crazy. Chuck the brush in a cordless drill.

You can get a carbide expander ball from Redding. Use it to burnish the necks. The carbide ball will iron out any raised metal.
Then load and shoot.

My advise:

After trimming & chamfer (I also do it when there new, after expanding & chamfer).

My 21st century turning mandrel will mar the insides of the neck if I don't use any lube. I used 4/0 steel wool wrapped around a small diameter Allen wrench to clean them up.

I use a Giraud trimmer and my Forster classic collects dust.
