I love mine. I load a 105gr MKZ over a stout charge of N530 and it gives me 1/2 moa and fantastic performance on whitetail. I'm in Indiana, and everything I've it with this load at every angle and ever distance (out to 300 yds) has given me good to great expansion and an exit wound. I'm running a 24" upper from Sanders Armory. The only down side to me is that the AR is a heavy platform. The weight doesn't bother me though. The property owners that I mostly hunt can't shoot straight to save their life. They know it and tend to limit their shots to 100 yds or less (less than 50 for the youngest brother), but we end up tracking a lot of their deer. I went away from using my ML during firearms season because I wanted a faster follow up shot when dealing with their wounded animals. For a max range of 200-300 yds, I think the 6.5G and 6.8 SPC are ideal choices for even the biggest whitetail. Under 150-200 yds I'd probably opt for a 300 blackout. Much past 300, I'd probably want something that shoots a little flatter, but I'd be willing to take my Grendel to 400 yds. When I take it to the range, I generally shoot on our 400 and 500 yds berms.
