Thoughts on a shooting calculator?

I was curious if anyone has ever used or seen the usefulness of a calculator that can convert between Mil and MOA, stores your rifle and load info (i.e. what your scope is zeroed to, etc.) and helps you to make quick adjustments by just punching in a few numbers?

I have seen some apps out there that do these things, but my concern with those is you can quickly run low on battery life, where calculators I have seen last upwards of twenty years without needing a new battery, especially if they have the little solar panel on them for power.

Is this something folks would use, and what would something like that be worth, monetarily speaking? What features would you like to make it worth while?

Smartphones have pretty much done away with task specific calculators.

Smartphone is my choice. I always have it with me and it is easy to use. I don't even use my Kestrel because it is not easy to enter data. Streelock seems to be hitting the elevation right on first time.

I do keep a charged battery with 10AH available for emergencies. That should give me time to write down my dope for my SHTF rounds.

A. No
B. Less than zero since my smart phone already does all this and a calculator would just be another device to keep track of without any up-side.
C. The only thing I can think of that would make it worthwhile would be if it doubles as a sex-robot. It can get mighty lonely way out in the woods.

Applied ballistics has everything you could possibly need.
When set up properly you can make first round hits way out there.
You can buy a smartphone and not hook it to a service and use it as a handheld device if that is what you are looking for.
