SPF Used Thompson Center TC Contender frame. Early G1 model with a 90k serial number. Includes hinge pin. Looks like someone broke the hammer spur so they knurled the top of the hammer. Do those actually work on the first series of the early Contenders? It is a totally different safety feature.

As long as the top lever is in the center position, it can not contact the firing pins.
The early ones that had the pin protrude was small and tended to peen enough not to withdraw into its pilot hole.
Certainly better than no safety at all as the receiver currently exists.
