Under new ownership Thompson Center is making a comeback. Their recent videos are entertaining and nice peak behind the curtain of reestablishing a brand and setting up production. Some of their recent videos over past year includes rediscovering historic rifles from their gun library and then shooting them. I thought I’d post link.
Thompson Center - resurrecting the Icon

When I shot Small Bore Hunter's Pistol Silhouette back in the late 70's to mid 80's, the T/C Contender ruled the competition. All the master class shooters I knew shot this pistol version of the T/C. With the factory match bull barrel, they offered back then, these would outshoot any pistol I ever saw.
Me being a throwback, shot the S&W Model 17 (K-22 
). While I achieved a AAA classification, I never made it to Master probably because I wouldn't go the T/C route.

I like my Icon and Dimension rifles. Neat that the Icon action will be available.
My old buddy shot a ruger mark 4 at silhouettes because everybody shot contenders. Doug
Never had a Dimension but like my Icon. I’d like to get a new one to go with the original

A few things, if I may.
1. It is always good to have new or new/old designs hit the market. This should be at the SHOT Show in about seven months. I look forward to seeing and handling them there.
2. I hope there will be an action length/width for the current "Big 30's" like the 30 Nosler, 300 NM, and 300 WM.
3. Let us also hope they have had or will have, time to work all the bugs out instead of using us, like the computer companies do, as Beta Testers.
