thompson center carbine serial # and model number location

Anyone know where the serial number and model number are on a contender carbine rifle. I had one shipped via FFL to FFL and the local FFL can't ID the rifle.

I will try this again.
I have three TC frames,1 contender, 1 G-2 and 1 Encore) all have the number in the same place.It is on the top rear of the frame. Under the hammer. It is vi sable with the stock in place.
I also have a pi of a VERY early contender with the number in the same place.
Hope someone did not file the number off,
