This is my....

most 'fun' rifle of all to shoot:

coydog by Sharps45 2 7/8, on Flickr

Standard 22/250 with Krieger 1-7 ROT and it shoots the 90 gr. Sierra VLDs back to 800 yards better than good! I popped another yote this morning with it so this one would have some company!! Don't see too many in this area but when I do....they seldom leave!!

Good picture and nice rifle there! When I got out of the Marine Corp. in 74 my first rifle was a remmy 700 varminter in 22-250. I still have this rifle and amazingly it still shoots great. I have just fallen in love with the 20VT but will always cherish my 22-250 and when I ever wear it out it a new barrel chambered for 22-250 will go back on. ;D

How do the 90's behave on coyotes?

That fella sure is red. They tend to be brown and gray in my neck of the woods.

Through and through with a fist size hole on the opposite side!!

Nice gun & nice dog! If you would like that cheek rest to stay a little further back….check out Bradleycheekrest.com. I had a lace up rest that was always coming loose and moving forward on the stock, the Bradley rest solved my problems without adhesives, which I didn't want on my stock.
Just for your info, I have no connection with Bradley, other than being a satisfied customer.

Is that color typical of the coyotes in your area? I've never seen that much color in one, before. They are pretty grey in this neck of the woods.

Combpad doesn't move! I use Velcro!

This one was big, fat, and Red! Had a lot of rain this past summer and the yotes have fed good! Not unsual color for North Louisiana! I've killed many that were gray and on food stamps in past years!
