This begging just has to stop!

When the testosterone level starts to elevate in the fall, you probably shouldn't turn your back to those bucks.

I certainly won't! I have had the 12 pointer too close to me several times already. He hasn't given me any reason to be scared of him, but he doesn't seem to have a "zone" where I am too close to him, like the 8 pointer does.

The 8 pointer won't come any closer than 10 feet of me at any time. The 12 doesn't seem to have a zone.

The last few years, when they started rubbing their velvet off they disappeared. They only came back occasionally after that until winter. They wouldn't even stop for corn the few times I saw them during the rut.

We have 10 does and 5 bucks that see us regularly. Two pairs of bucks are brothers and are always together as pairs. There is a 2 year old 8 point and 6 point shown in the previous pics I posted. Then there are two monsters who are probably 5-6 years old, always together. I mean mule deer sized racks on Georgia whitetail. Well these jokers walk right up to me when I get home from work around 6 every night. It scares the crap out of me. They are being “sweet” but I know they are 1. Wild animals and 2. They are dudes. Once the rut comes I need to figure out how to scare them away.

Here are the two behemoths chilling in my driveway around 830.

Those are a couple of dandies. Thanks for sharing your pics.

I am going to resort to using the 4 wheeler to put corn out if mine don't behave. They don't mind the ATV as I am on it all the time going from place to place so they have got used to it. In fact, they often will come in when they hear it, knowing I am outside. They don't like to get to close to it though. They will stand off and wait until I park it in the shed.
