thinking of the 6mm SLR

1/4 MOA gun at 700n yards? Are you a bench rest shooter? That might be a tall order for most folks. Anything is possible though....once.

I size my necks all the way. Not sure what you need the inside neck Diameter for, unless you meant to ask about the loaded round outside diameter is so you can order your Bushing?

How has N-165 stacked up against H-1000? ~600 rounds thru my rifle now and I've never cleaned so many 600yd strings with anything (I had N-165 when the barrel arrived). 3150 fps for Win Brass and 45.something gr. I would like to see more X-count though.

I've since found H-1000 but haven't tried it yet.

Not sure about N165. But N160 is REAL popular down my way. Just about everyone Iknow that shoots the SLR around this region is using N160.

Russ, If you've tried H1000 and N160 which do you like better? and why?

I have not run across N160 for over a year.... So kinda hard to test it when its not around. about tired of the shortages but am starting to see some relief finally.

When I moved away from the SLR I was useing N-160 with 105's, N-165 with JLK or Berger 115's and H-1000 with the DTAC bullets. My only conclusion is the more bearing surface, the slower the powder. All I know is those combinations worked really well in 2 different bbls.
