Thinking of building a 25 saum

As title says thinking of building a 25 saum . Has anyone built one if so tell me about it , accuracy , feeding , loads ect.
I am not interested in hearing of way over bore and things of that nature, they make barrles in my thoughts. Thanks for any true info in advance.

I have one and it is a shooter.
Curtis Custom Axiom single shot, 28" Brux with a break, Bix & Andy tac sport trigger..
5.5x22x50 NSX, all on top of a real pretty piece of Claro Walnut..
Shot a big doe with it this year at 196 yards, center punched her and she went about 40 yards.
It is a IMP case and it has shot a lot of 1's at 100 yards with the 115 Berger VLD's on top of H-1000..
The low node is giving me just shy of 3200 FPS, and was shooting so good there, I never went faster..

I have been watching that, and will use them as soon as I have a 7.5 twist barrel from Brux...

Might try and search on the 25 SST by Sherman Wildcat Cartridges. It's basically a shorter SAUM case.

I use them in a 7:25 twist in a 25-284. They shoot great. Unfortunately, all I have is a 100-yard range.

You may have already seen or heard, but 25 SAUM earned 2nd place out of over 200 shooters in the Nightforce ELR match at Q Creek out to 2100 yards. The 131 ACE held its own up against a true army of 300 Normas, 28 Noslers, 7-300's, 338 Lapuas, 375s, 408/416s and a lot of other big stuff.

This rifle was running 3385 fps and they shoot like a laser out to 1500 yards. The shooter who own Ingenuity Gunworks who earned 2nd in Open Division hasn't shot hardly at all this year - we just went up there to see how we could do.

If you run the numbers on the 131 ACE at 3385-3425 fps you'll see not much can hang for a long, long ways.

BC is one thing...... being able to track true through the trans into sub and beyond is a whole other league.
