Thinking about Peep sights

Gentlemen, I need you’re help. I'm looking for a basic set of rear peep and front sights for my remongton 550. I have looked on the Williams and NECG sites but they arent showing anything for the 550. Surely someone makes one for a round dove tail reciever, and also I have no idea as to what size apature and front sight i would need. I’m looking for somthing to hunt squirrel and small game, small enough to be accurate but big enough to see critters in low light conditions like under oak trees etc. The front sight I would like to like a tru glo style so I could pick it up well enough thru the rear sight but not so big it would cover up small game.
Any thoughts or suggestions to steer me in the right direction?? E

Are you shooting competition or hunting? A small front aperture will severely limit hunting uses. Using an adjustable iris rear sight will sharpen the front sight. Palma or BP shooters will probably answer your question best.
