I think a lot of shooters have seen the results at Bisley strongly favoring the 7WSMs and such and think they will be the ducks nuts for F class in USA and Australia. The way I see it is that at Bisley, the winds were really bad, making peak accuracy not so important, compared to sledge hammering the bullets into the wind. They were also shooting Bisley style,I hear that happens at Bisley??), which means you get a longer break between shots. This means you barrel doesn't heat up as much, and you cant follow the spotter as much. It also means you have more time to reposition your rifle and get over your last shot.
In most ranges where I shoot, which I would think is similar to USA, the winds aren't often as bad. Combine that with not shooting Bisley style, you can get your shots off a lot more quickly. This means you can crank your rounds away fast when you get a good condition and maintain good accuracy. Not having a really big kicker means you can get the gun back to battery more quickly. A big barrel burner will wear out the shooter and barrel more quickly in this style of shooting.
I think this is why the 6 Dashers and such are so popular in USA and Australia for all round F class.
