Thhwaap & spat

Hit a ranch I do coyote control on today that has no less than 10 square miles of p-dogs.
Talk about fun...yea and no one to see my un countable multiples of multiples....but I'm used to doing this alone. I ran 305 rounds from 730 am till 1130 am.
Had an Antelope doe laying on the 2 track going in and knew she had a fawn some place. Yup, yup twins and right on the road, could not of been more than 2 days old.
Shooting suppressed. One of my Savage builds, .223, 50g vmax on top of w748, moly coated.

Vids.

My table, cheap like me, but works.
My home made barrel wrap that slips on/off I keep soaked w/water. Works perfectly for me since I don't worry about "cosmetics".

love those blue skies. Very nice work. Gosh what I would do for a suppressor...here we are not permitted to own them.

Nice day for sure. Love the pic of the twins, surprised they let you get that close. Congrats.

What type of maint work do you normally do to the barrel after using the wet wrap to cool the barrel?

Like most baby animals they hold tight when momma runs off to make whatever is close follow her.
These ones did the same, heads went straight to the ground, ears flat and froze. I could of picked them up, but I know better than that.
Nothing special to the barrel I have to do after shooting all day wrapped & wet/damp. Just the standard cleaning.

Yeah. What I like. We were in the area, had fun but to a lesser degree. Used a cheap table from Lowes.

nice pictures, yeah I've walked up on them like that out where my property is north of 80 in Sweetwater County.

I love prairie doggin/ in WY but gonna miss it this year.
Just couldn't make it happen. We usually shoot them over past Medicine Bow off of 487 IIRC.

One of the times you are in the area I'll have more time off and get you on one of my spots. You may shoot so much that it will bore you, but you both will just keep on shooting since the ground moves with them.

Sounds like an offer too hard to pass up. Hope it works out soon for you guys.
