awesome thx, got it, the crosshairs dot are illum in the scope...of course. nice shooting. When we walked to the crest of a 2 track we saw something that was not really moving a lot in a small drainage, but threw a good thermal hot spot. Tall grasses blocked us from getting a good ID on it. I set the call next to me and played vole distress, it finally came out of the small dip it was feeding in and onto the 2 track, that's when it was 100% ID'd as a coyote, it walked towards the call and decided to leave. Thermal scope, reticle/screen is illuminated. I blew a short howl using my turkey diaphragm when I finally picked it back up out there, it stopped to look back and that's when I took the shot.
5spd,
Great video and awesome shot. What make/model of thermal are you using?
Thanks, Paul
I was at 1.2x on magnification, can run it to 9.6x, but I like more FOV.Not a very precise magnification or reticle. Seems that center spot is near the whole size of the coyote.
Real interesting both in video and picture with that extra leg. Thanks.
