I built this rifle for my fiance Lauren. She had never shot any kind of rifle before. It is an MDT chassis with a brand new MacBros action and one of my original prototype pre-fit barrels in 223 Ackley. It has a Jewell trigger and a Leupold 8.5x25 varmint reticle scope.

I gave her a box of ammunition that I made for plinking with the AR-15. It is 22.5 grains of AR comp in WCC brass with 77 Sierra matchkings set to magazine length.

So I set her down and gave her a routine and she started shooting the hundred rounds to fire form them. This was the second time at the range this morning. So she shot the second half of that same box.

Keep in mind she's never done this before ever.

There are some quarter inch 5 shot groups on there. Not every single one but I don't see many that are north of half minute.

These are not hand loads these were made on my progressive.

A lot of my customers ask about shooting my 223 Ackley one and eight twist barrel with varmint bullets. Will this is my standard made on the progressive pdog load.



The P-Dog load is this group. She accidentally shot the wrong square once. And then shot this five shot group.

It's not a bad idea to take your progressive powder thrower and flush it with graphite powder.

thats awesome i am running the 75gr ELDMs but i am getting alot of variation with the Dillon thrower, but i did find a case activate Mark 7 thrower, but i havent been able to set it up.

See she genuinely seems to love shooting. We reloaded 22 BR Ackley last night and she seemed to love reloading too. She likes the routine. She's very good at reproducing a routine that she's been taught. I think that's all shooting is. It certainly is what reloading is
