It’s the same thing with 133. One year it will be slow, the next year it will be fast. We try buy as much as possible so we can learn it. I’m just now starting to run out of my 2007 lot of 133. I’d say I’ve shot close to 250 pounds of it!

The Irony of this is that when the 2007 lot came in, some shooters couldn't get it to shoot. I sold at least 4 jugs of it to the scruffy guy from Tennessee and he was winning a lot at the time. I just didn't give it a chance.

A few year ago I got some early on coaching on powder lots. When Varget was in short supply, I bought a few lots of Varget. Later, I ran into the Hodgdon Powders Rep. We discussed my concern about the impact on accuracy shooting multiple lots on Varget. I asked him if there really was a difference. His answer was yes, but he then suggested I make my own lot of Varget. Following his direction, I then dumped about 20 lbs of various Varget lots into a big plastic container and stirred it to make my own lot. The “new lot” was returned to the original containers. Do powder lots really make a difference?
Who knows, good story,
Ben

I found that the humidity I load in shows up on target.

One day I left a charge on my scale with the wind shield as my ac unit shut off. It was hot and humid that day. Holy smokes! Watched the weight climb to a full tenth higher, before it stabilized,
I turned on the ac again to see what would happen and sure enough it started going back down at about the same rate.
I had been rezeroing my scales thinking I had electrical issues. I figured had something to do with time of day and how many people were drawing juice IDK.
I don’t need any help not keeping a rifle in tune.
