I can shoot on my place in central Idaho, and do.

But not too often - as the neighbors have horses and the horses don't like it, apparently. Also there's a "range" on a remote BLM canyon 15 minutes away.

Anyway, I shot some suppressed .22 WMR "here" on a new target area.

12"X16" 3/4"plywood backer screwed to some 6"X 6" w a paper target.

2 days later, while checking the irrigation hoses, I noticed a new stream of water - not too close to any tree/plantings. Odd.

25 yds behind my target.

So all I can think of is your flaunting your wealth shooting at plywood... You must the loaded with that stuff at $75 a sheet.. lol... Hey at least that are wont need watered for a while..

Had a skunk in the pasture, headed towards the house. By the time I got a shotgun out of the safe and loaded he was getting pretty close. I had getting him before I was in his range for spraying, get him quick, don't get sprayed, going thru my head. I shot, pointing at his nose, the spray went 4 feet in the air and kept going, going, going. The I realized I also hit an irrigation hose. Oh well. The worst part was the neighbors were in the driveway watching. I think that was the year we killed 25 skunks on ours and the other ranches close by. Good memories!!!

Yup. Know your target and what’s behind. I’m assuming you do know and it all’s clear since this is your land and you have a target stand setup.

This is like a quadruple flex, pressure treated posts, plywood, Ammo, and watering.

It's Hornady 30g 22 Mag ammo using a silencerco sparrow.
pretty quiet.

This is like a quadruple flex, pressure treated posts, plywood, Ammo, and watering.

My place backs up to a massive piece of BLM. In this stretch, very steep hills, no hiking trails, no ATV trails or anyone. It's a very big berm.

I have never done anything like that with a firearm,. BUT, I was target practicing with my bow and arrow in the yard. I had just started learning to shoot a bow. I had an arrow go into the garage through the man door. No biggie. It hit something and bounced back out. A week or so later I go get a 5 gallon Jerry can out of the garage to put gas in for my dirt bike. I add oil and start pumping gas. I pump a few gallons. Then I have gas pissin all over my leg. WTF?? There is a hole in the can about a foot up. Yeah that arrow musta hit it and made a hole.

Zilla, when I was a young pup with a dinky bow, I shot at a pumpkin in the lawn. Stupid beagle decided to race by at that moment, between the bow and the pumpkin. I mentally redirected that arrow (in slooooo motion) to miss his important parts. It hit him square in the head, bounced off and no damage done,

Was pulling at 1200 yards for a friend way back when he nicked the frame with a Sierra 200 & redirected it to the 2 inch irrigation line that was safely way below line of fire. At least I got a wash before I moved out of range & the pump was turned off.
