The Grandfather of U.S. F-Class shooting has left the range

JJ Conway the Grandfather of F-Class shooting in the United States passed away over the weekend at age 95.
He will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him.

I still remember when he left the high power shooting at Camp Bullis, SATX to go into FClass. I shot a lot of matches with JJ at Camp Bullis. Years later I bought his memoirs.

I fondly remember the stories, coaching Mid while traveling from one end of the country to the other, your endless energy in all you did.
And thanks again for your handy work with a pencil and a brush. I look at that leopard and the Colt SA every day.
