My goal has been to shoot a 5 inch group.I came reasonably close at the Williamsport world open this past weekend in unfavorable conditions.
I don’t know the sequence of the shots because they don’t do that for the two day shoot. But it has been bugging me ever since, 8 of them are in 3.75 inches,9 in 5.75 and the last one took it out to 10.3 inches.

Seem like you had a good powder node, did you grab a different lot of ammo mid string might explain the fliers.

Unfavorable conditions= wind gremlins. All kinds of little swirls and switches that aren't indicated on the flags.

1BAD, considering the rifle is new and the conditions I have heard about, you have a solid rig. I wouldn`t change anything until you can shoot in more favorable conditions to get a true test. With that said, you are still MOA + a pinch. When you get 8 rounds in 3.75 inches that shows great potential. Good shooting, and good luck. Jeff

1Bad: I want you to re-read the above.

For several reasons, if there's a better post on the forum this month, I'd love to see it.

To be honest I don’t leave every stone unturned in my reloading process. Those were just out of the box Berger 108’s not sorted in anyway. I have not gotten into weighing my primers either. I realize that to compete at a high-level there are some things I need to change. I have vapor trails on order but like a lot of others I have still not received them yet. The Bergers do seem to show promise. I have gotten it to inch groups at 500 yards pretty consistently. It is kind of hard for me to get to a 1000 yard range to work up the loads at that distance. I have only shot bigger calibers (6.5x47/ 284)and shooting this 6BRA is sure a lot of fun.
