That some of the small and not so small firearm departments in some stores in Oregon have very large amounts of cash going nowhere at the moment due to M-114. If by chance you are a small gun shop running on a credit line and no money is coming in because of the O.S.P. backlog started by M-114, well you may be pretty much up against the wall now. The backlog as of yesterday in our area was 25,000+.
There are some stores in Oregon releasing firearms using the three day rule now. The O.S.P. has told stores/shops in the past that if they did that then any law suite from that firearm would come directly to the store.
I love going into gun shops or chain stores, so for a while I asked the people in the gun departments if anybody from the O.S.P. ever said the O.S.P. would stand by them if a problem came up if they had waited until the background check was completed, even when it took months to due so?
I got tired of the are you a moron look from each and everyone of them, so I quit asking.
