The Century Club -- Acknowledging Special Site Contributors

I don't think there should be restricted access to people less fortunate or on fixed income. I do think that if you are not a site contributor and you sell or buy something in the market place, you should have to pay a $20 a year fee to take advantage of this great resource.

You can become a "site contributor" for just $20.00. If you can afford to shoot at all, you can contribute to the site........ $20.00 is nothing for the amount of info a man can get from this site. Just my .02

I was unaware of the "century club". I donate two or three times a year, love the site. I'm gonna add another 100 bucks today.

Just an idea. If there was a visible goal for fund raising it might help everyone see where the donations are and how close contributions are to reaching the targeted amount.

The classifieds here are a freak of the internet in that scammers and deadbeats are almost non-existent, you can buy/sell with a high level of confidence, this is rare, cherish it. If you sell items, make a % of sale price donation on a sliding scale, cheap items 5%, more expensive 1%.

I've been using this site for a few years now and have happily donated $12 a year as some time ago the Forum Boss suggested that just $12 per year would keep this site up and running... I would pay more, what I have learned from this site in a short time is worth way more than $12 per year. I would be at a loss if this site/forum ever closed.
I've just donated $100 which at this point in time is $137 in Aussie dollars.. I didn't donate to be in the $100 club but to play my part in keeping this forum open, I believe its money well spent.

Superlite -- You raise a good point. A $10 donation each month is very generous and totals more than $100 in 12 months. We are working on a tracking system that will recognize this.
