Texas Stripped of Powers in Border Security Bill

Published Feb 05, 2024 at 8:03 AM ESTUpdated Feb 05, 2024 at 10:29 AM EST

Conservatives have attacked a provision of the new border security bill that would only allow legal challenges to be made in Washington D.C.

The bill would strip the power of Texas and other states to challenge some of the its provisions in their local federal court.

Conservative commentators were quick to denounce the provision, contained on page 221 of the bill. Bill Shipley, who was a federal prosecutor for over 20 years, decried the its court provisions on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday.

"This would prevent plaintiffs - like the State of Texas - from filing suit in Texas federal courts. This is corrupt," he wrote.

NGO's would be paid hundreds of millions(our tax dollars) to help move people to the border from south/central America. Another 1.8 million people would be let in this year, on top of the 10 million under Biden, who knows how many million under Obama. And they still get to fly around the country with no ID, but you can't. More rights than citizens, which is intended.

I pray this doesn't pass and it might not. I cannot fathom why anyone would agree to such terms but it serves to remind us what we're all up against. The house only has a slim majority of republicans and a lot of them are RINOs. This is Johnson's chance to prove if he has the fortitude to stop it in it's tracks. This next election will determine if America is to survive as it was founded. It will not only take a President that is willing to fight the establishment but a Congress that will support him in his endeavor.
Newt Gingrich's article about the deep state establishment that was created by FDR and nurtured ever since is a good one and explains what any President is up against if he should decide to return our government to it's founding principles.

We have a serious problem. We’ve been too quiet for too long and are losing ground rapidly. Hopefully Texas stays on the path they are on and forces attention to the problem. I’m in Arizona, it’s bad here. I wish we would follow suit. It’s gonna be a wild year….. who knows where this is headed but it doesn’t look good.
