We added this class for all of the shooters that had semi custom rifles from manufacturers that used aftermarket triggers, stocks and barrels etc. Companies like Springfield Arms, Christensen Arms, Remington custom Shop etc. These guys make their own actions but use components from other suppliers in their finished product. Previously these guns were restricted to Tactical or Unlimited classes, now they have a class of their own.just a question???
How many custom action folks make 5000 actions per year??? Not sure even Borden, Bat or Kelbly make 100 actions per week????

Tactical class has to have a bipod. All other classes can use rests, bags or bipods. A lot of tactical PRS shooters used bipods in all classes.Very interested.
Clamshell brake is a new term to me. What is the definition of one?
Bipods?
Rests?
Don’t be so quick to discount your potential. As Jim stated to earlier, all different disciplines have a chance. That’s a big part of the appeal to me. I’ve about convinced myself to leave my benchrest stuff at home. Getting from target to target quickly and rounds off in a hurry when you’re on it is at least as important as ultimate benchrest accuracy, probably more. Plus, I’m better spotting my shots with a good cheek weld and firm hold. You want to see your hits & misses.I am as excited about this as a 8 year old approaching Christmas.
I am so happy to have learned about it, and it's only an hour and a quarter from home.
I won't be a contender, but without losers like me, there can't be winners!
Edited to add: My auto spelling changed losers to lovers.
I almost let it ride, much funnier.
A Savage brake would be acceptable. No aftermarket products please.Factory class...I have a New Savage tactical something or other 6.5 PRC ( the only "factory " gun I own) I bought new last year and the BBL came threaded for brake/suppressor. Can I add add a brake/suppressor in this class?
Thanks,
Tod
