I just joined today. One of the first things I did was search for information on the 6mm Remington. I tried several parameters in the search function, but got zero hits regardless of what I did. I also noted that there's not a 6mm Remington page either. I'm presuming I'm not doing something right on search, or is there that little information?
FWIW, I have a 6mm Remington that I use as my primary coyote gun. The rifle had been abused as a child, but has responded quite nicely to TLC. The major problem was that the barrel had been shortened, but never re-crowned. Thereafter the previous owner had attempted and re-attempted every bedding variant he could come up with in his futile search for accuracy.
When I bought it, he swore blind it shot soooo good. I got it cheap anyway. When I detail cleaned it, I even got release agent outta the firing pin spring! I had it recrowned, but the barrel is now 18.5', which has made reloading interesting. However, the short little booger is a nice coyote gun indeed.
And no, I don't list detailed information about my guns on the internet. Al Gore invented it & I don't trust him,grin).
