thanx for all the PPC help

I never had a rifle that would shoot consistent in the .1`s but starting with a used rifle from the classifieds here with a Farley action in a Leonard stock,,then a 12 twist Krieger .237 HV bbl from the classifieds here,,and a 35X LCS with raised FCH from Sam Hall from the classifieds here and it all put together by tclaunch an old buddy from tndeer.com and longtime member here then the final piece was the JD`s 68 gr BTs from the classifieds here,,

every piece of this rifle came directly from the accurateshooter classifieds,,plus all the answered questions over the last couple months on how to get the PPC going in the right direction,,

thanx everybody,,I hope to shoot better at Gallatin UBR next Match than I did with the 8 twist 6BR last Match,,

I hope my testing is done and I can just shoot the 29 gr 133 load with the JD 68BT,,I hope that 11 ring just got bigger,,

Good shooting there Mrbig. 133 works well. Does in my used rig purchased from this site too. The only question I have is how you managed to shoot those targets on 4-29-16 when today is 4-23-16?

whatever today is,,I must have been looking at March on calander,,I was really stoked when my first 4 groups with the new bullets looked like that,,I dont ever remember shooting sub .150 groups back to back,,hopefully it will do that 4 times in a row with all 20 loaded the same,

but I really hope it will eat the crap out of those 11`s on the UBR target,,

It looks to me like it will. All you have to do is watch your flags and you'll be alright. Sure is fun when you KNOW they are going in there. Good luck.

I don't know what is worse never having a rig shoot like that. Or when it goes away and you are chasing barrels knowing what it is supposed to do

Very nice groups there mr. big. One thing that I like about a 6ppc is that you can make a target out of a post card and shoot a LOT of groups on it.

Glad you are enjoying it and hope to see you in a few weeks. WD

Very impressive. Now go practice on UBR targets. I was lectured by my mentors that you practice in the discipline you intend to shoot.......Yes, it makes a BIG difference. Having to move the rifle in the bags to change POA for EVERY record shot adds in another variable shooting for group does not have. You want to find out now, before a match, that your set-up/ technique is conducive to traversing the score target. Practice (in all conditions) then proceed to kick some butt.
One more suggestion- place at least one wind indicator (simple flagging on a pole) to the left and right of your line of flags so you can see changes coming......it will train you to watch the field (of flags) during a match.

shot 20 rounds this AM to confirm the +.010 seat depth,,after that went ahead and loaded 100 rounds and gonna shoot some dots across my flags next few days and get used to the effect the wind has on the load and hopefully be able to shoot the Match with this load as is,,
agged a .190 in pretty calm winds but mirage was tough so I am pleased with the load and the rest will be on me,,with the bullet holes overlapping and no holes in any of the groups hitting the 11 will be all on me and my weak wind skilz,,

thanx again for everybody that talked me into using the 12 twist when I ordered the 14,,I just almost used it for a zero freebore 6BR and made a varmint rifle with it,,

I know you must be excited of the upcoming match. I hope you do well, as you have done a lot to prepare, and be ready. I felt going in, that the PPC reamer was going to be a good one. Proud you trusted me on this project. Hope that barrel gives you many fond memories. I`m still trying to talk myself into a PPC. Looks like its too much fun, and may have to jump in!!!

I am gonna wait till Friday and shoot and make sure load doesnt go haywire in whatever weather we have then and load my ammo Fri night,,
I cant wait to try it under pressure,

The best of luck to you if you're preloading with 133. You may get lucky and stay close to tune throughout the match. Just take notes on temp. and humidity between relays so you can see how tune changes with conditions. As good as 133 is in the PPC, the loads always seem to require tweaking to stay in tune.

I hope you do well also.
As you have time to. Try some LT32 I think you would do better pre loading with it than with 133

I have been shooting for 2-3 weeks in different conditions and it seems like 29.0 is in the middle of the node ,,it seems to shoot the same groups and POI from 28.5-29.5
