Thanks to Whidden Gunworks!!

I just wanted to give a big round of applause to Whidden Gunworks!! Just got my new 6 Dasher FL bushing die and micro seater die. Dies are far nicer and of better quality than I have ever had/seen! AND they are making me a custom 22 Dasher Micro seater die!!!

THANKS!

They are excellent people at Whidden! A short time ago they started building a "non-bushing" style 6 Dasher die. I asked them if they honed out to specs like Forster does. The gentleman stated "I don't know, let me go see". I told him I wanted my die honed to .266.. Less than 1 hour later he came back and stated "I have in my hand a 6Dasher F/L die honed to .266".. I asked him why they were not already in the mail! We had a good chuckle and I received my "special" die and the Competition Style Micro-Seater in a few days. They will go out of their way to make a customer a happy camper! Great people!

Great to hear! I spoke to them briefly re my new build and custom dies and was told to send a reamer print and the dies would be made. I was hoping they could make a type s fl bushing die and micrometer seater...now I'm really excited!

I got a 7mm Shehane die set from them . Awesome.. and the price
was FREE. I won a certificate at the Remington regionals at Reade,Pa .
They do support the sport. Thank You Whidden.

I have a custom FL bushing die on order based on my reamer print. I have heard nothing but good things about Whidden! May end up ordering a few more and gravitate away from the Redding "S" dies.

I had Whidden Gunworks make a couple of custom die sets for wildcat cartridges i own. The dies are top notch all the way, i don't think you could ask for better quality. As a matter of fact i am slowly replacing my Redding dies with Whidden dies. Not only are the Whidden products great but their customer service is also top notch. Two thumbs up for Whidden Gunworks!

A timely post...I have been hating on bushing dies forever due to horrendous runout...curiosity got the best of me and I bought a Whidden FL bushing die on sale. I now like bushing dies, yes very much so!

I have John's bullet pointing die. Absolutely fantastic workmanship! My questions regarding the die were answered by John within a few hours! Can't say enough about the man!! 8)

His shop is pretty nice too ;)

They have expanded over the past year and looked like they could grow even more if demand keeps up. I have another project that I will order custom dies from them again to use on the new project

I own 2 sets of Whidden dies and will probably end up owning more in the future....

Phil.

The trouble with Whidden dies is once you have a set or two
you will want to replace all those redding dies :(
They are really nice dies!!
