I just got two bolts back from Carlsbad and am certainly impressed by his work on bushing and installing M-16 extractors in both. Great communication throughout.

One of the great things about this forum is the number of members that can fix problems or steer you to others that can.

I'll certainly agree! He did one for me recently also. Great job and quick turn around. I have used GreTan in the past and he also did nice work with fairly quick turn around. Currently he is backed up 12 - 14 weeks. That is the result of a job well done. I foresee Carlsbad being waaayyy behind in the future!!!

Jerry has so many irons in the fire what with his full time job, restoring that old lathe he purchased recently, etc, etc that I suspect he has elves helping him in the shop. Kind of like Santa

That old lathe is moving slowly. Got the spindle out. Ordered oil seals. Ordering bearings this week. Found a source for FAG P5 bearings for less than $100 each.

Just got word today that my day job as an engineering manager is slowing down a bit so I'll be working only 40 to 50 hours a week at that.
