Overall it went well. We ran 23 targets with 4 relays for 3 matches/day. We had a couple targets as spares, just in case. We started each day at 8:15AM and we were all done by 2:15PM. We started each relay, we did not infiltrate. We had a 5 minute pause between matches. Most relays went the entire 25 minutes, we had people shooting each of them to the bitter end.
We had a couple of recalcitrant targets and some issues with users and tablets. We also had quite a few people cross-firing, but most scorers knew how to deal with that.
There were no delays on either day (nor on team day either,) except for the time when someone tried to drive down the side road.
We had a relay of any/any, another one of Service Rifle and sundry, one relay of F-TR and one relay of F-Open.
I would have hated to spend a few more hours in the sun this weekend because of pit change.
We identified a few issues with some targets and are taking steps to remedy. We also figured a way to reduce user error on the tablets and we will be documenting all that over time at our website. We are happy to have people learn from our endeavors.
Personally, I shot all weekend and never had an issue with the targets to which I was assigned. I do believe there is a problem with the software because, while there was never a failure to detect any of my bullets, the ShotMarker faulty software recorded too many of my shots as 9s instead of 10s or Xs.
